German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen is planning to unveil the CrossBlue Coupe Concept at the upcoming 2013 Shanghai Motor Show to be held during 20-29 April 2013 in China.
The hybrid vehicle will be powered by the V6 turbocharged direct injected gasoline engine paired with two electric motors to generate a total output of 415hp/ 309kW.
Acceleration of 0-100kmph (62mph) in 5.9S will be offered by the vehicle with a fuel consumption of 3L for 100km and will be able to cover distance of 33km (20.5m) in electric mode.
Features of the concept vehicle include 22inch tyres, dual exhausts, prominent front-end grille, wile the interiors include digital instruments with rear-seat entertainment system.
In March 2013, the automobile manufacturer had unveiled the production version of e-up! electric vehicle, prior to its global debut at the upcoming Frankfurt motor show in September 2013.
