Dialog has invested in MIT spin-off Arctic Sand Technologies, which has an approach to DC-DC power conversion based on switch capacitive techniques.
"This strategic investment will help us accelerate the commercialisation of our technology," says Dr Nadia Shalaby, CEO and Co-Founder of Arctic Sand.
The investment is part of a series A funding round in which Dialog is joined by other investors.
Arctic Sands calls its technology TIPS (Transformative Integrated Power Solutions) and says it allows the use of smaller inductive components, resulting in increased efficiency and an overall higher power density factor.
