US-based Gorham Paper and Tissue has launched a new paper brand Optix for packaging applications, at Paper2013 that took place from 17-19 March in Chicago.
According to the company, Optix is an FDA compliant line of food packaging embedded with grease resistance and wet strength suitable for wraps, bags, liners and pouches.
Gorham Paper and Tissue director of marketing Pam Miller said, "Gorham produces a tremendous range of papers from deep rich colors to bright white, from heavyweight tags to ultra-lightweight bond, demanding food packaging papers to something as straightforward as a drink coaster."
The company also launched its other paper brands such as Helix, Vertix and Iconix for engineered, converting and printing markets, respectively.
