Falken Tire Corp., in association with Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios (makers of the Forza Motorsport series for Xbox 360) have announced that Kevin Neuville is the winner of its Falken Tire Livery Contest in Forza Motorsport 4.
Beating out livery designs from hundreds of competitors, Belgium's Neuville was chosen as the overall winner, and his winning livery will be featured on the Falken Porsche GT3 RSR during the 2013 Petit Le Mans Race this October.
During the month of April 2013, Falken Tire and Turn 10 Studios conducted a contest designed to blur the lines between gaming and real world racing. For 30 days, players were urged to create and submit their own designs in Forza Motorsport 4 utilizing the Team Falken Tire Porsche GT3 RSR as a canvas for a once in a lifetime chance to alter the worldwide recognized Teal and Blue livery.
Nearly 200 unique designs later, six finalists were chosen by Falken Tire and Turn 10 staff and then posted on Falken's Facebook page for voting by the fans. After much anticipation, Neuville's design was chosen to be featured at the 2013 Petit Le Mans Race. It will also be displayed at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas Nov. 5-8.
