G-III Apparel Group Will Replace Santarus in The S&P Smallcap 600

G-III Apparel Group Ltd. will replace Santarus Inc. in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on Tuesday, December 31. S&P MidCap 400 constituent Salix Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is acquiring Santarus in a deal expected to be completed soon pending final approvals.

G-III Apparel Group Ltd. designs, manufactures, and markets women's and men's apparel. Headquartered in New York, NY, the company will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Apparel Accessories & Luxury Goods Sub-Industry index.
