New Line of Travel Compression Socks Is Launched by Brightlife

BrightLife Direct, a compression garment distributor, has added two new lines of compression socks for travelers to its inventory. The Allegro brand Jig and Jazz lines are designed for men and women spending time on long flights. Made with a blend of cotton, they minimize the risk of blood clots.

The new travel socks also keep feet from swelling and can alleviate the aches and strains felt in the legs due to lack of movement.

The Jig line of travel compression socks provides 15 to 20mmHg compression woven with 82 percent cotton, which ensures softness and good temperature control.

The Jazz line resembles dress socks, and is made with 85 percent moisture-wicking microfiber. It has a uniquely woven cotton interior that is comfortable against the skin.

BrightLife Direct's website has a category devoted to compression therapy for travelers and the prevention of deep vein thrombosis. It currently offers 14 different sock styles for men and women in a variety of fabrics, patterns and colors.

"We carry travel socks from around the world, but only from hosiery mills that produce medical-grade products and adhere to rigorous testing to ensure proper compression," said Kip Bright, president of BrightLife Direct. "We also offer sheer compression hosiery for flight attendants of several major airline carriers which match their corporate requirements."

BrightLife Direct has been serving those who wear compression garments for more than 11 years. The Washington, DC-based company offers name brand products at discounted prices. This includes Mediven, Sigvaris, Juzo and Jobst compression socks.
