Dow Performance Packaging has bagged the Ringier Technology Innovation Award for its Robond L-95D water-based laminating adhesive at Shanghai.
According to the firm, the adhesive has been developed for use with film substrates that are clear or even metallized, and uses Dow's acrylic emulsion technology with a leverage of performance and operational convenience aimed at sustainability.
The adhesives enable customers to achieve higher operational efficiency in a broad range of applications, the firm claimed.
Dow Packaging Asia-Pacific commercial vice president performance plastics Peter Wong claimed the recognition is a step forward in their water-based technology.
