Target stores is recalling various salad lines sold in Rhode Island,US,as the products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes,according to the Rhode Island Department of Health.

The products being recalled are Market Pantry and Archer Farms Deli Salad lines.

The recalled products include Archer Farms Four Bean Salad,Market Pantry American Potato Salad,Market Pantry American Potato Salad 16 oz,Market Pantry Chicken Salad 12-oz,Market Pantry Cole Slaw,15-oz,Market Pantry Cole Slaw,44-oz,Market Pantry Egg Salad,12-oz,and Market Pantry Macaroni Salad 3#.

The following products are also being recalled-Market Pantry Macaroni Salad 16-oz,Market Pantry Mustard Potato Salad 16-oz,Market Pantry Mustard Potato Salad 3#,Market Pantry Reduced Fat Mustard Potato Salad 16-oz,Markel Pantry Tuna Salad 12-oz,Market Pantry Italian Pasta Salad 14-oz,and Layered Taco Dip.

Consumers who have purchased the items have been asked to discard them immediately.No illnesses have been reported in connection with these products at this time.

Symptoms of listeriosis can include high fever,severe headache,stiffness and nausea,or abdominal pain and diarrhea.
