Jaguar Land Rover of North America Is Recalling Around 144 Units of Its 2013-2015 Model

Jaguar Land Rover of North America is recalling around 144 units of its 2013-2015 model of Jaguar XK due to incorrect information about spare tire information.

According to the US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard the vehicles do not comply with the requirement of safety standards.

The regulator mentioned that the omission of the recommended pressure for the spare tire could lead to improper inflation of the tire which could lead to crash.

The affected models were manufactured between August 24, 2012 and June 10, 2014, and are equipped with 5.0L engine.

The car maker will notify its customers and dealers starting from 30th August, and the dealers will inspect the vehicle and attach the corrected placard label that will mention the tire size and pressure for free.
