Among the names is Friedheim International (stand E90). The equipment supplier will highlight developments from two manufacturers it represents in the UK and Ireland – Beck Packautomaten and Schib Packaging.
From its wide range of film, shrink, sleeve and form shoulder wrapping machines, Beck Packautomaten will be showing a Serienpacker S 1750 XJ packaging unit, which will be demonstrating the film wrapping of a range of different types and sizes of products in order to highlight its great versatility.
In a separate demonstration Schib Packaging will have on display a CO 50 BB horizontal flow wrapping machine which, depending on the size and type of product being handled, can process up to 150 items per minute.
Also at the exhibition, feeding and product handling specialists Partners in Packaging (Machine Systems) will showcase a number of the latest feeding technologies from its principals. One of the stand highlights is the new Flowfold Two, base card feeder and folder from Streamfeeder. It has been designed for simple and repeatable operator size changing in less than two minutes. The machine features on stand B11.
Travtec Group (stand D50) will launch a special software module that can be incorporated with the company’s Pharmacarton carton handling, marking and verifying system to provide full traceability of pharmaceutical packs throughout the distribution chain, from manufacture to the end-user. The Travtec Aggregation Module enables a unique label to be prepared at each stage of the packing operation.
Metal detection specialist Fortress Technology (stand B01) will highlight FM software. It can be field installed on its Phantom and Stealth models. Also on display, will be its patent-pending Halo technology, which is an automatic metal detector testing system.
