The Aerowagon Is Showed by Callaway Cars

US-based automotive manufacturer Callaway Cars has unveiled the Aerowagon, C7 Corvette based shooting brake concept vehicle.

The vehicle is expected to be powered by the 6.2L Chevrolet small-block V8 engine that generates output of 450hp and 450lbft of torque, according to the digitaltrends.com.

Manufactured at the company's Callaway Carbon in Santa Ana, California, US, the vehicle will be based on the RTM process for structural carbon parts and will include the Kramer Resin Transfer Molding (KRTM) process that produces load carrying carbon parts in one swift molding step.

The company claims that the vehicle fitted to the Callaway version of the C7 Corvette will offer top speed of over 200mph, while providing highest mileage rating in the supercar segment.

Production of the car is scheduled to start with release of production C7 Corvettes in late 2013.

The price of the AeroWagon is expected to be under $15,000 and will be made available through company's Dealers in the US and Canada.
