Macrogen has introduced new temperature-controlled package, Easybox, for customers in the gene and genome analytics service industry.
The new premium temperature-controlled packaging option will be provided for shipments through express transportation company FedEx Express.
Easybox, which features gel packs, packing instructions and other supplies based on customer’s specific shipment, has been developed to reduce shipping preparation time.
The new delivery package has been created by using waterproof, insulated, and shock absorbing material to protect the content against external shock and maintain the temperature range.
The packing instructions enable customers to pack their shipments using dry ice or gel packs to minimize temperature variation and reduce the risk of accidents resulting from poor management or overused dry ice or gel packs.
The new packaging option will help customers to minimize shipments’ temperature change throughout their transportation.
Additionally, the customers can track their FedEx shipments over the entire journey.
The company will provide new Easybox service for about 18,000 R&D customers in 150 countries across the globe.
