Yumis Quality Foods is recalling Deli Originals Spinach Dip Mediterranean Style due to Listeria monocytogenes contamination, the Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) said.
The product is being recalled from Aldi Stores in Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
The Deli Originals Mediterranean Style Spinach Dip 200g plastic tub is manufactured in Australia and it features date marking of use by 22/01/14.
Food products contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may cause illness in pregnant women and their unborn babies, the elderly and people with low immune systems.
Customers who have purchased the affected product have been advised not to eat it and instead return it to the place of purchase for a full refund and those concerned about an illness should seek medical advice.
