7-Eleven Introduces Two New Sandwiches in Plastic Packaging

Convenience retail chain 7-Eleven has launched its two new sandwiches, the Steakhouse Roast Beef and Bistro Deluxe, in plastic packaging comprising new graphics that feature a dot-grid pattern in shades of lime green.

Introducing the new sandwich graphics is the company's initial step towards a storewide revamp of packaging to draw attention to the quality of its prepared foods and beverages.

7-Eleven vice president of fresh food innovation Kelly Buckley said the new packaging serves as the stage for the food and needs to convey freshness, quality as well as the company's brand image.

"It also needs to make the food easy to eat on the go," Buckley said.

US-based 7-Eleven operates, franchises or licenses more than 10,000 stores in North America and has nearly 50,000 stores in 16 countries globally.
