Built at Datsun's new plant at Purwakarta in West Java, the new GO+ is a five-door multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) with a third row for accommodating either passengers or luggage.

Datsun GO+ Panca is powered by a 1.2L engine, which produces an output of 68hp when paired with five-speed manual transmission.

Nissan Motor Corporation corporate vice president Toru Hasegawa said this is a proud moment for the Nissan Motor Indonesia, with the approval of the LCGC license and the launch of Datsun GO+ in Indonesia.

"This is another step to show our commitment to this country, and I am confident the new Datsun GO+ Panca will grab the hearts of our customers here," Hasegawa added.

The new vehicle is said to be the first of its kind in terms of price and value in the Indonesian family car market and in the LCGC.

Currently available for orders, the new car is scheduled to see first deliveries in June 2014.
