British Snack Brand Cofresh Recalling a Batch of Its Chips as They May Contain Wheat

British snack brand Cofresh is recalling a batch of its chips as they may contain wheat ( gluten) which is not declared on the label, according to the UK Food Standards Agency.

The recalled product is 40g Eat Real Lentil Chips Creamy Dill Flavour bearing Batch code L6188 with 'Best before' date: July 2015.

The company has issued a product recall from its customers and point-of-sale notices are displayed in stores where the affected product was sold.

This recall has been initiated after the company found that the product in this batch contained particles of gluten slightly above the legal minimum required.

Consumption of the recalled product may cause possible health risk in people with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.

Customers who have bought the recalled product are advised to not to consume it and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
