Haggar Clothing Co. Filled Two Key Roles on Its Executive Committee with The Selection

announced that it has filled two key roles on its executive committee with the selection of William Davenport as the new CFO and Tony Anzovino as Vice President of Sourcing.  The announcement follows an extensive search by the iconic apparel company for the right executives to assume leadership roles with the company which is positioned to extend their current trends of revenue growth and market share gains.

Prior to joining Haggar, Mr. Davenport held various senior leadership roles with a concentration in the areas of financial planning and analysis, strategic planning and operational execution.  He most recently held a senior level role with The Neiman Marcus Group and previously worked for Brinker International, Inc. and KPMG LLP in increasingly senior positions.

"I am thrilled to welcome William to Haggar as the newest member of our executive team," said Michael Stitt, CEO of Haggar Clothing Co.  "The selection of our financial leader follows an extensive search for the person with the right skill set, passion and leadership skills.  William combines those attributes with seasoned experience and judgment."

"Haggar has long been a powerhouse in men's apparel," said William Davenport.  "I feel privileged for the opportunity to be part of such a successful and respected company.  I am excited about what the coming years will yield for the company and to be part of the team that will drive Haggar to the next level."

Mr. Anzovino brings to Haggar his extensive experience in the apparel industry with demonstrated success in manufacturing, sourcing and technical development.  His expertise extends into garment, fabric and yarn development and innovation with multiple national brands including Abercrombie & Fitch, Urban Outfitters and most recently, the JC Penney private label division.

"Tony brings a remarkable level of talent and capability to a critically strategic area at a time when Haggar is poised for unprecedented growth," said Tim Lyons, President of Haggar Clothing Co. "The expectation of category and global expansion for the brand required the right level of ability combined with an aggressive approach to development and uncompromising quality assurance for a brand synonymous with quality.  With Tony in place I can say with confidence that Haggar has never been better positioned to manage and extend both products and brands."

Since its beginnings in Dallas, Texas in 1926, the Haggar Clothing Co. has grown from a simple manufacturer of men's fine apparel into one of the most recognized brands in the market, with Haggarcasual pants, dress pants and suit separates and an extensive licensing program offering head-to-toe clothing options for style-conscious men of all ages and professions.
