Visteon's Plan About Unveil Autonomous Driving Simulations Technology

Visteon is planning to unveil cloud based technology for connected vehicle as well as vehicle cockpit concepts and autonomous driving simulations technology at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

The company is planning to present secure over-the-air software upgrades that are delivered from Visteon's connected vehicle hub using different wireless communication methods.

Visteon is also planning to unveil Autonomous driving simulators that are based upon the company's proprietary consumer research on human machine interaction (HMI) preferences, to bring future driving scenarios to life.

Semper Novus, a technology for continuous upgrades of in-car electronics to future-proof the driving experience is also expected to be introduced at CES, which will help automakers to keep the vehicle updated and introduce new services to make the drive more pleasant.

Visteon executive vice president Martin T. Thall said: "As one of the leading cockpit electronics suppliers, we are now turning our focus to designing connectivity into our all our products utilizing Cloud-based technology and over-the-air connections - creating a truly connected driving experience.
