Widam Foods, a Qatar-based company, is set to ink livestock supply agreement with two Malaysian companies, Halal Capital and Creative Oscar.
The agreements include the supply of refrigerated meat and 100,000 heads of livestock over a three-year period.
Widam Foods executive manager Dr. Sami Balla Ibrahim was quoted by Sudan Vision that the company is intending to sign the agreement with Halal Capital by next week in Sudan.
The second agreement with Creative Oscar; however, would be executed over the next few weeks, added Ibrahim.
Creative's agreement includes the terms mandating Widam to make monthly purchases for three years, accounting for a total of 3,000 heads of livestock for export.
Widam Foods, meanwhile, revealed that it is soon to complete Khartoum International Slaughterhouse to cater to meat manufacturing sector.
The establishment would be in line with global standards, Ibrahim assured.
