Ensemble's Delighted to Showcase Raw Mango's Hand-Woven Saris and Blouses

Ensemble is delighted to showcase Raw Mango's new collection of hand-woven saris and blouses by designer Sanjay Garg, starting Thursday 24th July at their Lion Gate store.

Retaining the brand's contemporary style, the collection titled 'SHAHER' is a collective endeavour of Raw Mango to showcase the juxtaposition of their vision of an exciting, busy, chaotic and overwhelming life of Mumbai and the more pristine, peaceful, and predictable life of Maheshwar, in the heart of Madhya Pradesh.

The designs display a commitment to explore and innovate the traditional Mashru and Brocade weaving techniques of Varanasi. The silhouettes are brought to life with the newly explored technique creating geometric designs incorporating peculiar method of Mashru weaving for saris. The exquisite, intricate and rich Varanasi Brocade saris have been woven using metallic and silk threads creating splendid raised ornamentation.

Ensemble has always taken pride in promoting indigenous craftsmanship. Through this special showcase of Raw Mango's collection, they aim to give new dimension to the country’s traditional textiles and weaves, in tune with this season’s trends.
