US-based quick-service chicken concept Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, a unit of AFC Enterprises, has introduced new Chicken Waffle Tenders.
The new Chicken Waffle Tenders are made with Popeyes' handcrafted, juicy, all white meat chicken tenders marinated in Louisiana spices, then hand-battered in a unique and crispy waffle style coating, the company said.
Popeyes Chicken Waffle Tenders are served with Honey Maple Dipping Sauce, Cajun fries and a biscuit.
Commenting on the launch, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Marketing vice president Hector Munoz said, "These delicious hand-battered, waffle coated, handcrafted tenders paired with a sauce that has all the sweetness of maple and honey are the latest example of this commitment and is a combination we know guests are going to love."
According to the company, the Honey Maple Dipping Sauce with a touch of rich butter flavor delivers the sweet.
Currently, Popeyes has 2,119 restaurants operating in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Cayman Islands and 28 foreign countries.
