Powerful Yogurt is set to launch in the UK this month, with specialist online sports nutrition retailer Muscle Food UK.
Available in three flavours Natural, Strawberry, Mango and sold in 227g tubs (rrp 2.35), Powerful Yogurt delivers up to 25g of protein per serving.
Made in Ireland, Powerful Yogurt was awarded Yogurt of the Year in 2013 at the Annual International Dairy Congress held in Lucerne, Switzerland.
Powerful Yogurt managing director, Robert Doyle, said: When we carried out our market research, we noticed there was a lack of tasty, fresh, natural sources of protein available to consumers. Many of the existing products were either simply fortified with protein or contained too many unpronounceable ingredients to deem them healthy.
We wanted our yogurt to be a simple proposition made from just milk and yogurt cultures, with no artificial preservatives or sweeteners.
The company is also aiming to launch its Powerful Yogurt Bars and High-Protein Yogurt Drinks in the UK later this year.
