On September 26th, Fortune magazine released the results of assessment for 2013 Most Esteemed Chinese Companies. Ranked 15th , Baosteel is the only listed enterprise in iron and steel industry.
Beginning in 2006, Fortune magazine focused on Chinese local enterprises and started assessment for Most Esteemed Chinese Companies. Assessment this time involved 300 candidate companies. Assessment criteria mainly included nine aspects of product and service rankings, management quality, etc..
