The German kitchen furniture manufacturer Leicht Küchen placed plant orders worth a total of €11m with the machinery producer IMA at the beginning of November. IMA CEO Rüdiger Schliekmann reports that delivery and installation will extend into 2013 and 2014. The order includes a batch-size-1 line for the production of fronts and shell components with two one-sided edge cycles and a complex sorting line. Associated with this plant purchase is also a new alignment of production to a linked, continuous production line.
