FUJI Electric Will Released New Quick Charging Stations for EV in North America in 2013

Fuji Electric is planning to launch its new Quick Charging Stations for electric vehicles (EV) in North America in February 2013, which are claimed to suit variety of applications and site locations.

The UL certified 25kW DC charger complies with CHAdeMO standards and meets all requirements for both small and large-scale installations.

Fuji Electric America EV Systems general manager Larry Butkovich said, "We've taken proven technology from our other businesses and applied them in new ways, such as the use of our ultra-reliable power supply and high-speed MOSFETs in our DC Quick Charger."

The company had launched the first model of DC Quick Charger for global market in 2008 and entered the North America's EV market in March 2012.

Fuji Electric America president and CEO Phil Charatz said: "Fuji Electric will continue to invest heavily in R&D to manufacture products that will further enhance the EV owner's experience and reduce the total cost of ownership for station owners."
