Bindaree Beef Will Merge with Sanger Australia

Australian meat processor Bindaree Beef has agreed to merge with meat marketing and distribution company Sanger Australia.

The combined company will be known as Bindaree Beef Group and will cater to the increasing consumer demand for meat protein across the globe, The Inverell Times reported citing Bindaree chairman JR Macdonald.

Bindaree Beef Group will combine production and marketing activities.

Upon completion of the merger, Sanger will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary of the new company.

"The combined business will be a powerhouse. We have proven expertise at every step of the chain, and we are offering an integrated, quality-oriented and very efficient supply chain to customers to customers around the world.

"Bindaree Beef Group is well positioned to grow for at least the next 20 or 30 years. Our growing reach is great news for our suppliers, Australian farmers, who are looking for reasons to continue investing in their operations," Macdonald added.

The deal has formalised the long-term relationship between the companies.

The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Bindaree Beef processes, produces, and delivers beef products to culinary destinations, including Singapore, Japan, Thailand, the United States, and Hong Kong, while Sanger Australia markets wagyu, beef, lamb, veal, pork, chicken, turkey, hen, and other poultry meat products to approximately 40 countries across the globe.
