This Year's Nuremberg International Toy Fair Attracted 73,500 Traders and Buyers

This year's Nuremberg International Toy Fair attracted 73,500 traders and buyers from 113 countries.

Although slightly down on 2012's figures - which stood at 76,55 - exhibitors remain impressed with the event, with 91.3 per cent of them saying they will exhibit in Nuremberg again in 2014.

Next year's show will run from January 29th to February 3rd. The 65th anniversary year will also see the opening of the new Hall 3A.

"The mood at the International Toy Fair was excellent and all the major customers were there," said Hermann Otten, MD of Ravensburger Spieleverlag.

Mattel opened its new permanent stand in the redesigned Hall 12.2. Stephen Tahy, VP and country manager, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, commented: "The investment in our new fair stand with its new design shows that the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg is one of Mattel's most important fairs for national, as well as international, visitors.
