Samsung to Launch Wearable Sensors to Monitor Stroke Patients

According to the data from WHO, about 15 million people have a stroke globally every year, 66% of which will die or turn permanent disabilities.

In the past 2 years, Innovative Design Lab Of Samsung keeps trying to develop wearable medical sensors, which can determine which to have a choke by monitor people's brain waves.

Recently, they developed a solution named "Early Detection Sensor & Algorithm Package". It consits of sensor accessories and related algorithms. EDSAP allows sensors to be connected to smartphone and tablets. It can calculate probability of having a choke.

The system cann't heal the choke but can provide an early warning to people to go to hospital. It can also obtain the data of brain systems, including sleep quality and anxiety level.
