Canada's Groupe Colabor is recalling Viandes Lauzon brand lean ground veal due to potential contamination with E. coli O157:NM.
The recalled Viandes Lauzon Lean Ground Veal are sold in 2 x 2.5kg size with UPC code Item #35180, and bears a code, 30/04/14.
The affected product has been distributed to hotels, restaurants, institutions, daycare and healthcare facilities in Quebec.
Groupe Colabor has advised the customers who have bought the product to throw it out or return to the supplier.
To date, there have been no reported illnesses associated with the recall.
