Taylor Farms Recalls 529 Units of Sandwiches Across Five States in The US

Taylor Farms New Jersey, an establishment based in Swedesboro, New Jersey, is voluntarily recalling 529 units of sandwiches across five states in the US, as they may contain tree nut, which is not mentioned on the label.

The product associated with the recall are Black Forest Ham and Cheese on a Pretzel Roll with Swiss Cheese and Country Dijon Honey Mustard sandwich packaged in an 8.7oz. plastic container with the code date of "sell by" 06/23/13 TFNJ 170.

These recalled products were sold at certain Wawa stores across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, and Maryland.

According to the company, the Black Forest Ham and Cheese on a Pretzel Roll sandwich includes a country Dijon honey mustard packet that was inadvertently replaced with a green pesto aioli packet containing pine nuts in a limited number of units.

No illnesses have been reported associated with the recall. This voluntary recall does not apply to any other Wawa products distributed anywhere in the US.

Consumers who have purchased Wawa Black Forest Ham and Cheese on a Pretzel Roll with Swiss Cheese and Country Dijon Honey Mustard are advised to discard the product or contact the company for a full refund.

Consumption of the recalled product may cause serious or life threatening allergic reaction in people allergic or sensitive to tree nuts.
