US-based food company Kellogg has re-located its Asia Pacific headquarters to Singapore where the company’s regional president, supply chain, HR, research and development (R&D), marketing and finance leaders will all be based.
The company stated that its new R&D regional center for savory snacks, including foods marketed under the Pringles brand, will be in Singapore. The center will be involved in the development of food, flavor and packaging as well as nutrition and sensory science.
Currently, Kellogg's Asia-Pacific headquarters and R&D center employ about 50 people in Singapore.
Kellogg Asia Pacific president Amit Banati said that the new regional headquarters in Singapore represents an important step in realizing the company's ambitions for long-term growth throughout Asia Pacific.
"We're delighted to run the Kellogg Asia Pacific region from such a prime location that welcomes business. We thank the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) for their support and cooperation and look forward to a long and productive relationship," Banati added.
