2014 Acura ILX Sedan Is Issued by Acura

Acura, the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Honda Motor, has launched the 2014 Acura ILX luxury sports sedan with new standard features.

The vehicle is available with two engine variants including with a 2L inline four cylinder engine mated to a Sequential SportShift five speed automatic transmission that generates an output of 150hp, while offering fuel consumption range of 24/35/28 mpg.

Acura ILX is also available with the 2.4L engine mate to a six-speed manual transmission matched that delivers 201hp output and provides fuel economy rating of 22/31/25mpg.

The sedan is produced at the company's Greensburg, Indiana plant using parts from the US and across the world and comes with 59% high strength steel (HSS) body structure, independent MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension system and amplitude reactive dampers.

Features of the vehicle include, upgraded 17-inch alloy wheels, leather seating surfaces, eight-way powered driver's seat, heated front seats, multi-angle rearview camera and the active noise cancellation (ANC) system.
