Tung Ho Steel Is Going to Hike Its H Beam Price by NT$500/Ton (About US$17/Ton) From Today

Tung Ho Steel, one of the major electric furnace mills and steel long products suppliers in Northern Taiwan, has announced that the company is going to hike its H beam price by NT$500/ton (about US$17/ton) from today.

The new base price for Tung Ho's H beam will be NT$24,500 (about US$831/ton) for small sizes H beam products and NT$25,600/ton (about US$868/ton) for long sizes. The major reason for this new price hiking is because of the soaring global scrap price.

Additionally, another major H beam producers - Dragon Steel has been expected it new prices will for sure to go up. Therefore, those two reasons make the company to announce new prices up earlier than usual.
