AD Determinations Regarding Imports of Certain Alloy Steel Seamless Tubes

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced its final antidumping (AD) determinations regarding imports of certain alloy steel seamless tubes and pipes for high-temperature and high-pressure applications from the European Union, Japan and the US, citing the substantial damage caused by such imports to the Chinese domestic industry.

The MOC announced that antidumping duty will be paid on imports of the products in question from the European Union and the US as of May 10, 2014, with the duty being in the range of 13.0 percent to 14.1 percent. As the import volume from Japan was small, the MOC decided not to impose duty on imports of the given products from Japan.

The products subject to the antidumping duty currently fall within CN codes 73045110, 73045190, 73045910 and 73045990 (other steel pipes and tubes under these codes which do not match the description of the investigated products did not fall within the scope of the investigation).
