The Russian steelmaker Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) said that its long steel division shipped around 340,000 tons of rebar in the first quarter of this year, up by 3% year on year.
Among them, 339,400 tons were shipped to the domestic market, increasing by 10% and 600 tons were made to overseas market, slumping by 97%, both compared to those in a the same period of a year ago. Meanwhile, NLMK planned to ship around 110,000 tons of rebar in April, falling by 8% from a month ago.
