Australian Dollar Sits Below 104 US Cents Heading Into The Start of The Local Trading Week

THE Australian dollar sits below 104 US cents heading into the start of the local trading week.

At 6.30am AEST, the Australian dollar was at 103.63 US cents, down about half a cent from Friday's local close of 104.15 US cents.

During weekend offshore trading, the local currency moved between a low 103.57 US cents and a high of 104.51 US cents.

In economics news today, the Australian Industry Group-Housing Industry Association performance of construction index for March is due for release.

The ANZ job advertisements series for the same month will also be published.
