China's Foreign Trade Value up 11.3 Percent

In September of the current year, China's total foreign trade value amounted to $396.432 billion, indicating a year-on-year increase of 11.3 percent, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on October 13. In the given period, the total value of China's exports amounted to $213.687 billion, up 15.3 percent, while Chinese imports totaled $182.745 billion in value, up 7.0 percent, resulting in a trade surplus of $30.943 billion, all on year-on-year basis.

In the January-September period of the current year, China's foreign trade value amounted to $3.162596 trillion, up 3.3 percent, with a total export value of $1.697089 trillion, increasing by 5.1 percent, and a total import value of $1.4655 07 trillion, up 1.3 percent, all year on year. The trade surplus for the period in question was $231.581 billion.
