Bank of China (BOC) has launched RMB-to-KZT cash exchange and trade in Xinjiang and handled the first RMB-to-KZT cash exchange under the direct exchange.
In June 2011, BOC released RMB-to-KZT cash exchange and trade in Xinjiang to meet the diversified market demand of Chinese and Kazakhstan customers, promote the cross-border settlement of RMB and KZT and facilitate Sino- Kazakhstan trade and investments.
