Feei Cherng Enterprise Is Expected to See Its Revenues Drop 20%

Solid capacitor supplier Feei Cherng Enterprise is expected to see its revenues drop 20% sequentially in the fourth quarter of 2013 prior to a rebound in 2014, according to industry sources.

Feei Cherng posted revenues of NT$160 million (US$4.72 million) in November, up 1.9% on month but down 15.9% on year. Accumulated 2013 revenues through November amounted to NT$1.97 billion, decreasing 11.3% from a year earlier.

However, Feei Cherng has stepped up its deployments in the network communications and smart device segments and has begun selling SSDs from US-based Netcom, with new sales to drive up revenues in 2014, commented the sources.

Feei Cherng will also step into production of mini molded chokes with volume production to begin in the second quarter of 2014, the sources revealed.
