2012 national technology innovation demonstration enterprise assessment results are recently announced.Baosteel Group Co Ltd insists on leading technology and open independent integration innovation road,and with good technical innovation and operation results,is awarded the title 2012 national technology innovation demonstration enterprise.
In order to thoroughly implement the central government's strategic plan on innovative corporate construction and national long-term science and technology development planning task requirements,promote and improve the technological innovation system with corporate as its main body,market-oriented,combined with production,research and learning,encourage industrial enterprises to carry out technical innovation,enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises and accelerate the transformation of economic development mode,Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Ministry of Finance carry out jointly 2012 national technology innovation demonstration enterprise selection.The selected enterprises should have core technology and independent intellectual property rights.Their overall technological level should be in leading position within the industry and should have important demonstration and guiding role.The selection principles are:openness,fairness,impartiality.It is carried out once a year and reviewed every three years.This time,a total of 76 enterprises are selected and Baosteel is selected as large state-owned enterprise.
Among the first batch of national innovative pilot central enterprises,in recent years,Baosteel vigorously promotes system capacity building and strengthens technological innovation strategic planning.Through the implementation of a series of technical innovations,it promotes technological progress in enterprises.In the past three years,Baosteel has 28 scientific and technological achievements which win awards.Among them,six wins National Science and Technology Progress Awards.Remarkable results are achieved in the field of independent intellectual property rights.The number of patents increase with the proportion of 20%per year Patent application ranks No.1 within industry.Baosteel adheres to the principle of leading technology and open independent integration innovation road and achieves breakthroughs in key technology areas.A large number of quality steel products,with high magnetic induction oriented silicon steel and ultra high strength automotive sheet as representative,are not only applied in the development of national economy,but also effectively enhance the voice of the domestic steel in a number of high-end application fields.
