Tupelo Officials Say Preregistrations for The Feb. 6-9 Trade Show Are up 63%

Tupelo Furniture Market officials say preregistrations for the Feb. 6-9 trade show are up 63% as of Dec. 17.

According to market President Kevin Seddon, nearly 10,000 have registered for the event.

"We are extremely satisfied with the results of our marketing efforts thus far, said Seddon. "If the current registration trend continues, we should have close to 20,000 preregistered for the event before the end of January."

He added, "Not every retailer that preregisters will attend, so our focus now is two-fold. First: to continue to market to those that have not yet registered. Second: to 're-market' to those that have already committed and keep them informed about new companies, products and programs that will be made available to them only if they show up in February."

Seddon indicated that more than 100 companies will offer special deals for those who order products on-site in February. A record 105 companies provided special offers to attendees at the last Tupelo market in August.

Seddon noted that new seminar programs will be available at no cost for those that participate in the Tupelo Furniture Market's "Lunch & Learn" Sessions. Other incentives include a limited number of hotel room rates as low as $40, free shuttle service for retailers attending from up to 100 miles away, and "show dollars" that can be spent during the market.
