Flagler County Fire Rescue Chief Don Petito wants to quash myths that"smart meters"cause fires,as Florida Power and Light continues with installations across the county.
Petito said the new meter,which uses digital technology,has already been installed at his home and he wants to assuage concerns that they are a fire hazard.
