We’re just hours on from yesterday’s Apple keynote, but the product train keeps rolling.
Apple is planning to launch new devices as soon as July, a new report claims.
It’s said that Apple will show off two new MacBooks at the end of the second quarter in 2016.
That’s according to a Digitimes report that claims Apple will unveil “new ultra-thin 13- and 15-inch MacBooks”.
What’s more, the report also alleges that Asus, Dell, and Lenovo are also preparing new ultra-thin laptops to launch at the same time.

While no source is specifically named, Digitimes cites its information as coming “from the upstream supply chain”.
Non-mobile computing is still a big revenue stream for Apple; in 2015, the company shipped an impressive 20.4 million Mac products.
Interestingly, that’s a growth of 4.08% on the previous year, a trend that this new report’s source says is “to continue”. It’s a surprising forecast, mainly because growth in the global notebook marketing has slowed in recent years.
Apple revamped its laptop line-up last year with the introduction of the new 12-inch MacBook, which debuted a significant redesign of the series.
New MacBooks launching in 2016 could certainly follow suit with the 12-inch MacBook’s design, but Apple has yet to reveal any official details.
One of the key improvements with last year’s MacBook was the svelte chassis, made possible by a space-efficient battery design.
