Philips has reported first-quarter 2014 sales of EUR5 billion (US$6.9 billion) and operational results of EUR368 million.
In terms of lighting, Philips LED-based sales grew 37% to represent 33% of total lighting sales while healthcare comparable sales showed a 2% decline on year, the company said.
Lighting comparable sales were flat on year while lumileds and automotive segments achieved double-digit growth, said Philips.
