The Classen Group Intends to Invest Roughly €35m in Its Next Stage of Expansion

The Classen Group intends to invest roughly €35m in its next stage of expansion at its laminate-flooring plant in Baruth trading as Classen Industries. During the course of the last few months, a single-pass digital printing press with a working width of 2,100 mm from Hymmen was installed in a newly erected production hall; the order had been placed in the summer of 2012. The setting-up of the line has been largely completed and adjustment work is now in progress. Commissioning is scheduled for May. The same hall is subsequently to house another production line for the Liquid Laminate Technology (LLT) process developed from 2008 by Classen in cooperation with Hymmen and which since 2010 has been so far been implemented on four production lines at the Baruth plant.
