Schneider Packaging Equipment has introduced a new add-on solution ProAdjust, which adjusts the change-over points of machines automatically.
The self-contained system ProAdjust, which consists of a controller and integrated PowerPacks, has been designed to meet the requirements of an auto-adjust system.
According to Schneider, the system is scalable from one to hundreds of adjustment points and requires no programming. Wiring is plug-and-go.
For one-time machine setup, the system uses a simple point and click touch screen interface. It features an easy setup for creating and editing recipes.
Schneider Packaging president Richard Schneider said the ProAdjust requires no middleware or manual adjustments to achieve automatic adjustments of machine change-over points.
"This increases throughput, and eliminates the mistakes and excessive change-over time that typically happens, resulting in wasted production time and product," Schneider said.
The installation of ProAdjust is said to be beneficial for equipment such as fillers, cartoners, stamping presses, laser cutters, mixers, case packers, palletizers, or case loaders.
