RevoLaze Announces a Collaboration with Jj Medina

RevoLaze LLC, the leader in high speed laser technology for the denim industry, has announced a collaboration with JJ Medina, an internationally recognized designer and finish development expert, it said in a statement.

JJ will serve as RevoLaze’s global ambassador to initiate discussions with denim brands and manufacturers on adopting the most advanced laser technology. He will also use his experience of more than 10 years in the industry to invite companies to the RevoLaze research and development center in Cleveland, Ohio where they will see first hand the fastest laser abrasion machine in the world.

“Our company is pleased to have a forward thinking ambassador in the denim arena with a proven track record. We will utilize JJ’s experience and passion to help create new, exciting and innovative ways to effectively use our technology in both denim fabric and jeans,” said Dr. Darryl Costin, CEO of RevoLaze.

Along with being RevoLaze’s global ambassador, JJ is the president of Roo Denim, a full value production company that designs, produces, markets and distributes a global volume of 120 million yards of denim per year.

The announcement of JJ Medina coincides with RevoLaze’s launch of their redesigned LaserSharp garment abrasion system. At 2500W, the LaserSharp system offers the highest speed, highest powered laser in the industry. With speeds 2 to 3 times faster than existing machines, the LaserSharp system can abrade over 1,000,000 garments per year. The high definition based controller and fine laser beam diameter deliver high quality abrasion patterns at the finest precision and resolution. This HD feature enables authentic looking garments and eliminates the need for further hand sanding and potassium permanganate treatment.
