A delegation with representatives of 12 textile and garment companies from Peru would visit Canadian cities of Toronto and Montreal between September 23 and 27, 2013, according to andina.   The delegation would be lead by Commission for the Promotion of Peru Export and Tourism (PromPeru) for promoting exports of cotton and alpaca fibre and garments.   The trade mission would enable Peruvian companies to identify demand and it would also serve as a tool for the promotion, management and development of exportable products, while identifying weaknesses, opportunities or threats to those products.   The Peruvian companies will promote their exports as well as establish contact with Canadian buyers, taking benefit of the free trade agreement (FTA) between the two nations.   Peru is Canada's second largest bilateral merchandise trading partner in Latin America and the Caribbean.
