More than 200 exhibitors will partake in the forthcoming inaugural edition of International Textile Fair (ITF), an event that aims to serve as a platform for Emirati fashion, fabrics and clothing, in Dubai.    Due to be held from November 3 to 4, 2014, the fair will attract textile companies and designers from China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Indonesia, Italy and other countries.    Manufacturers of fashion, home and industrial textiles will showcase their pre-collections for Spring/Summer 2015 and Autumn/Winter seasons.

The event's vast display of exhibits will also include natural, synthetic and plant fibers, as well as industry-related components like computer aided design and production systems and textile's or clothes' color cards.    In addition to the exhibitors, visitors from UAE, Oman, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and other Gulf nations will attend the two-day event.

The list of visitors will be comprised of garment exporters and manufacturers, buying houses and agents, departmental store owners, apparel brands, fashion designers and merchandisers, design studios and institutes, and fabric importers, distributors and wholesalers alongside trade body representatives and media.   To be held twice annually, the International Textile Fair's debut edition is supported by the Textile Merchants Group (TEXMAS), an organization that represents about 800 Dubai-based wholesale textile traders.   The United Arab Emirates currently houses about 150 apparel manufacturing companies.
