Crawford Industries Expands Its Operations in Montgomery County, Indiana

Polyethylene and polypropylene packaging provider in the US, Crawford Industries has announced plans to expand its operations in Montgomery County, Indiana with an investment of $5.2m.

At its existing 100,000ft2 facility located at 1414 Crawford Drive, the company will add 45,000ft2 as part of the expansion project, which is expected to be complete by October 2013.

The expansion will also include the restoration of current office space and installation of new equipment.

Crawford Industries vice president of finance and treasurer James Guinn said the investments in Indiana will allow the company to widen its capabilities to reach new and different markets.

"As business changes we continue to look for ways to innovate to insure long term employment our people have become accustomed to, and we look forward to continuing to grow in Crawfordsville," Guinn said.

The Indiana Economic Development offered up to $90,000 in conditional tax credits to the company and the city of Crawfordsville approved additional tax abatement.
